After an awesome year which saw The Black Girl Project do some great work, we’re looking forward to doing even more in 2012 and beyond, so basically, buy a shirt. Inspired by spectacular Black women, both real and fictionalized, they come in all types of colors and all of the proceeds go to The Black Girl Project.
Buy one for yourself, your cousins and your mama and ‘em!

FIRST COMPUTER WE OWNED IN ‘98 DID THIS
I AM OLD
oh my god our first pc from way back
like 1995
omgahah….. gosh my old Windows ‘95 and ‘98 computers
I remember I once turned off my mom’s friends laptop by just pressing the button, and she freaked out because she thought it was harmful. Even when I explained that it was perfectly safe in the newer models, she still went through turning off the computer the old way.
Good gods. This was a state of the art computer at one time. I remember typing Load “gamename”, 8,1 on my family’s Commodores.
I remember the time my mom flipped her shit because I pushed the power button to turn off my laptop. THIS WAS LAST YEAR.
awekjrlawerjaw yes and the crinkly noise they made when you turned them off? Do desktops still do that or am I just fucking old as balls?
kinda sounded like those twisty mechanical pencils when they run out of lead. Am I old?
wow, I actually don’t remember this
but I do remember actual floppy disks and the monster you put it into.
They were big and floppy and that “computer” made the strangest noises…
awww Chris just looked at this and said “oh fuck you” because he remembers it (he’s 31).
But I’m only 21…
